Doug Roberts, Chief Executive Officer |
|
Doug joined Global Traffic Technologies in the summer of 2009, bringing with him 25 years of experience developing and delivering mission critical solutions for the Public Safety and Telecommunications markets.
Prior to joining GTT, Doug was the Chief Operating Officer at IPC/Positron Public Safety Systems focused on delivering fully integrated telephony and dispatch solutions to the global emergency (911) call center market. Prior to this he was the General Manager at CML Emergency Services, responsible for delivering customized network and call center solutions to the 911 market. Doug started his career at Bell-Northern Research, the research arm of Northern Telecom and held roles of increasing responsibility and scope, including running the global R&D organization responsible for the delivery of Nortel’s industry leading long-haul optical transmission platform.
In addition to his extensive experience running development, sales, and operations organizations, Doug has a Bachelor of Engineering Science degree from the University of Western Ontario in London, Ontario.

Rick Sachse, President |
|
Rick is president of Global Traffic Technologies, LLC. Appointed to the position in June 2007, Rick brings years of experience and success in the intelligent transportation systems industry to GTT. Prior to this position, Sachse directed this business for five years as a part of 3M Traffic Safety Systems Division. Rick began his career at 3M, where he spent 25 years, until 2007 when he oversaw the sale of 3M Intelligent Transportation Systems to Torquest Partners. Rick successfully managed the divestiture of this business from 3M, and under his leadership, GTT was created and transformed into a standalone company.
Rick is active in the ITS industry and has been a member of the Minnesota Guidestar Board since 2001 and served as a Minnesota Guidestar Committee Co-chair from 2004 to 2006. A corporate member of ITS America since 2001and now serves as a member of ITS America’s Business Leadership Council. Additionally, Rick served as a Board Member for the 2005 World Congress Committee.
Rick holds a bachelor’s degree in Chemical Engineering from Lehigh University as well as Master’s of Business Administration from the University of Minnesota.

Brian VanDerBosch, Chief Financial Officer |

Brian joined Global Traffic Technologies, LLC as Vice President and Chief Financial Officer in January 2008 with more than 20 years experience in manufacturing and distribution industries.
From 2001 to 2007 Brian was Chief Financial Officer at Lubrication Technologies, Inc., a privately held blender and packager of petro chemical products for the automotive, industrial, fleet and recreational products markets. Prior to joining Lubrication Technologies, he held positions at Cara Collision and Glass, Empak Inc. and INCSTAR Corporation.
Brian holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Accounting from the University of Minnesota and is a Certified Public Accountant (Inactive.)

Timothy Hall, Technical Director |

In his role as Technical Director, Tim leads GTT’s team of engineers and technical service personnel in the development of new and innovative hardware and software solutions for the traffic detection, and preemption markets. Tim brings over 25 years of experience and accomplishments in the areas of embedded and systems engineering.
Prior to joining GTT, Mr. Hall was Hardware Manager of GE Medical’s Patient Monitoring group, where he led a team of Systems Engineers designing the next generation of high acuity multi-parameter monitoring devices. Before joining GE, Mr. Hall was the hardware engineering manager for Motorola’s UMTS/3G cellular advanced concepts group.
Tim holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Electrical Engineering from the University of Wisconsin - Madison, and an MBA from the University of Wisconsin Whitewater.

Jerry Johnson, Director of Manufacturing |

Jerry joined Global Traffic Technologies at its onset as part of the divestiture from 3M Company in 2007. His last position at 3M was Hardgoods supervisor for the Traffic Safety Systems Division. His responsibilities included product commercialization, sustaining engineering and management of contract manufacturers.
Previously, he worked as Vice President of Engineering & Operations for American Electronic Sign, a privately held company acquired by 3M in 2000. Initially founded as a commercial sign company, this business grew substantially through the development of variable displays for traffic applications ultimately focusing on the Intelligent Transportation Systems business. Duties included oversight of product development, project management, quality assurance, customer service and the production facility.
Jerry has over 28 years experience in electronics based manufacturing with an emphasis on quality management, planning, project management, supply chain excellence and customer service.
